Features of the smartwatch

A kids smartwatch with GPS tracking

GPS tracking allows you to see your child's location directly in the app. This way, you stay informed without having to call them. 

You can create safe zones (up to 10 zones), such as home or school, and receive a notification whenever your child enters or leaves these areas. 

Smartwatch with no access to Internet

The watch does not allow internet browsing or access to social media. Your child can only use the essential features, such as calls, messages, and location tracking. 

This gives your child greater independence in a safe environment that is appropriate for their age. 

School mode to stay focused

  • Calls and notifications are disabled during the times set by parents in the Xplora app.  
  • The watch remains discreet while retaining its safety features. 

SOS button

  • Press and hold the emergency button for 10 seconds to call the primary guardian. An alert is also sent to the app.  
  • Calls to emergency numbers (112) are possible. These numbers can be predefined in the app. 

Easy management through the app

  • The Xplora app lets you easily manage the watch from your smartphone. 
  • A maximum of two administrators can manage the watch. Approved contacts must also install the Xplora app to send and receive messages.

Question about the kids’ smartwatch ?

To send and receive messages, authorised contacts must install the Xplora app, available for Android and iOS. 

The child can choose from short pre-recorded messages on the watch (for example: I'm on my way, OK, I'm fine, etc.). It is also possible to add emojis, photos and videos. 

Sending and receiving messages uses mobile data included in your plan. Therefore, your child must have a mobile subscription activated on the watch's eSIM.

Yes, this is possible via Bluetooth. 

The watch is water-resistant according to the IP68 standard, for up to 30 minutes at a maximum depth of 1.5 metres. 

Without a mobile subscription and without the Xplora app, the smartwatch can still provide the following features: pedometer, camera and calendar. 

To use location tracking, messaging, alarms and school mode in Wi-Fi coverage areas, the watch must be paired with a smartphone through the Xplora app. 

Once paired with a smartphone via the Xplora app, you can activate the eSIM with a mobile subscription. With a mobile plan including call minutes and mobile data, it will then be possible to make calls, use location tracking and send messages everywhere, even without Wi-Fi. 

No, it is not possible to listen to music on the Xplora X6 Play watch.
