  • Older devices will still work, but without reaching maximum speeds. 

Wi-Fi 7 is currently available only for Flex+ Ultra Fiber customers: 

  • New Ultra Fiber customers: you’ll automatically receive the new Internet Box+ with Wi-Fi 7 during installation. 
  • Existing Ultra Fiber customers: if you already have an Internet Box+ with Wi-Fi 6E, you can request a free upgrade to Wi-Fi 7 starting in early 2026.

Fixed Internet speed

Fastest Internet in Belgium, available with Flex+ Giga Fiber and Flex+ Ultra Fiber. The actual speed experienced depends on the computer system, but also in exceptional cases, on general use. Fastest and most stable fixed internet in Belgium

Best fixed Internet performance

Results from the 2025 fixed connections barometer(PDF, 3 MB) published on 12/01/2026 by the independent company nPerf. Results based on 161 349 tests carried out between 01/01/2025 and 31/12/2025 on fixed networks (xDSL, HFC, FTTx) in Belgium. Barometer and methodology available on nPerf.com.

Flex+ Mega Fiber

The maximum usable speed is up to 500 Mbps in download and 500 Mbps in upload for all devices in the home network together. Flex+ Mega Fiber customers benefit from Wi-Fi 6 technology included in the Internet Box.

The unlimited data volume is valid for a personal and normal use, see the General Terms and Conditions. After using 6 TB, your speed will be limited to the end of the month, unless you activate your free 300 GB extra volume via Proximus+. More info on proximus.be/internetpolicy(PDF, 151 KB) .

Flex+ Giga Fiber

The maximum usable speed is up to 2 Gbps in download and 2 Gbps in upload for all devices in the home network together. Flex+ Giga Fiber customers benefit from Wi-Fi 6E technology included in the Internet Box+.

These maximum speeds can only be achieved by using the following technologies:

  • Category 6A RJ45 network cables.
  • 10 Gbps network card or 10 Gbps Thunderbolt 3 adapter.

The unlimited data volume is valid for a personal and normal use, see the General Terms and Conditions. After using 6 TB, your speed will be limited to the end of the month, unless you activate your free 300 GB extra volume via Proximus+. More info on proximus.be/internetpolicy(PDF, 151 KB) .

Please note: for Flex+ Giga Fiber customers, the 6 GHz band included with Wi-Fi 6E technology is only available when connected to the Internet Box+. When connected to a Wi-Fi Booster, they only benefit from the existing 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.

Ultra Fiber 10 Gbps

The maximum achievable speed is up to 8.5 Gbps for download and 8 Gbps for upload for all devices in the home network combined. Ultra Fiber customers benefit from next-generation Internet Box+ with Wi-Fi 7 technology included. These maximum speeds can only be reached using the following technologies:

  • Category 6A RJ45 network cables;
  • 10 Gbps network card or 10 Gbps Thunderbolt 3 adapter.

The optical data rate is 10 Gbit/s for an XGS-PON fiber connection. The difference between optical and data transfer speeds is due to the reservation of part of the bandwidth for technical protocols guaranteeing end-to-end transmission quality.

Unlimited data volume is valid for personal and normal use, in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions. After 6 TB, your speed will be limited until the end of the month unless you activate your free extra 300 GB volume via Proximus+. More info on proximus.be/internetpolicy(PDF, 151 KB) .

Modem: a modem is included in each Flex+ pack:

Free installation

Free installation by a technician for new Flex+ Fiber customers if self-installation is not possible. If you opt for a fiber product without a package, an additional fee may be charged for a new installation.
