Blocking fraudulent emails and SMS
Have you ever received a text message or email that looked like it came from Proximus, your bank, or a public institution, asking you to click a link, confirm details, or make an urgent payment? It may be a phishing attempt designed to trick you into sharing personal or financial information.
Every month, Proximus blocks around 400 million fraudulent emails and 2 million fraudulent SMS, so many of these attempts never even reach your inbox.
Blocking suspicious calls
Phone scams, often called "vishing", involve calling you to steal your codes or confidential information. Fraudsters pretend to be a bank or a public institution and usually try to pressure you into giving up private data or transferring money to their accounts.
Every month, Proximus blocks around 1.5 million suspicious international calls before they reach the network, protecting you before they can even ring.

Proximus invests heavily to strengthen the cybersecurity of its networks with services like Smarter Online: our free platform that answers your questions on phishing, suspicious messages, children's online safety and more, and checks if a link or website is safe before you click.
Digital skills for growing minds
In partnership with Child Focus, Proximus offers Internet Safe & Fun workshops that help children navigate the digital world safely.
