Phishing (fake emails or SMS)

Phishing is an online scam using fake emails or SMS that pretend to come from companies like Proximus, your bank, or a public institution to trick you into sharing personal information.
Their goal is to steal your confidential data.

Secure Net (on the Proximus network) and Norton Security (on all networks) block malicious websites and phishing attempts to protect your devices.

Viruses and malicious software

Viruses and other malicious software (malware) can install themselves via attachments or suspicious apps and steal your personal data.
Some, called ransomware, can even encrypt your files and demand a ransom.

Secure Net reduces the risk by blocking dangerous websites on the Proximus network (fixed or mobile, depending on the option).
Norton Security offers advanced antivirus protection to detect and remove viruses, malware and ransomware from your devices, wherever you are, for full cybersecurity.

Yes. Proximus network protections (like blocking fraudulent emails, SMS and suspicious calls) act before threats reach your connection. But they don’t cover everything:

  • Secure Net protects your devices at home and on the go, as long as they’re connected to the Proximus network (fixed or mobile). It also secures your smart devices (TVs, consoles, voice assistants) with no installation.
  • Norton Security protects your devices on all networks, in Belgium and abroad. It offers advanced features like VPN, password manager and parental control.

These solutions are complementary: Secure Net protects your Proximus network and smart devices, while Norton protects your devices everywhere.

  • Secure Net: simple protection with no installation needed. It secures all devices connected to the Proximus network (fixed or mobile, depending on the option), including smart devices.

Yes, if you’ve chosen the Secure Net Fix option (at home). This option protects all devices connected to your fixed Proximus network, including smart devices like cameras, alarms and video doorbells. The Secure Net Mobile option protects your mobile devices on the go, but doesn’t cover smart devices.

  • Secure Net: yes, if you're connected to the Proximus mobile network (via Secure Net Mobile) or to a fixed Proximus network protected by Secure Net Fix. This means you're protected while on the move in Belgium, but not abroad or when using public Wi-Fi outside the Proximus network.
  • Norton Security: yes, it works on all networks, in Belgium and abroad, thanks to the app installed on your devices.

Yes, with Norton Security 5. It allows you to filter content, manage screen time and monitor your children’s online activity.

No. Secure Net runs in the background without affecting your connection speed. Norton Security is optimized to avoid slowing down your device’s performance.

Yes, they are complementary: Secure Net protects your Proximus network and smart devices (depending on the option), while Norton Security protects your devices anywhere.

  • Secure Net: activate Secure Net via your MyProximus account if you're already a customer, or during your Flex+ pack order if you're a new customer.
  • Norton Security: subscribe to Norton Security 1 (1 license) or Norton Security 5 (5 licenses) via MyProximus, then download and install the Norton app on every device you want to protect.

With Norton Security 1, you get 1 license and can protect 1 device. With Norton Security 5, you can protect up to 5 devices (smartphones, computers, tablets).

Secure Net

  • If you change your mobile device:
    • If the option is included in a pack, adding a new device is free, but you must activate it manually via MyProximus.
    • If the option is taken individually, it must be activated per device at €2/month per mobile subscription.
  • If you change network:
    • You're protected only on the Proximus network (fixed and/or mobile, depending on your option).
    • If you switch to a non-Proximus mobile network, protection no longer applies.
    • If you change your fixed network, you're covered only if it’s a Proximus line with Secure Net Fix active.
    • Abroad, Secure Net does not work.

Norton Security

  • You can transfer your license to a new device via your Norton account.
  • Protection stays active on all networks, in Belgium and abroad, as long as the app is installed.
  • Norton Security: yes, it includes advanced protection against ransomware (programs that lock your files and demand a ransom) and malware (malicious software that infects your devices).
  • Secure Net: no, it does not remove viruses or malware already on your devices. It blocks dangerous websites and phishing attempts before they reach your device.

Offer valid until 30/06/2026 inclusive. Available to all existing and new Proximus Internet, mobile, or pack customers. Enjoy a 3-month free trial with no commitment. After this period, your trial will automatically convert into a paid subscription of indefinite duration, in accordance with the specific conditions of the Secure Net service, unless you cancel before the end of the trial.

Pricing after the trial period:

  • Secure Net Fix: €4/month – protects your home Wi-Fi network, including all connected devices.
  • Secure Net Mobile: €2/month per mobile subscription – protects browsing on the Proximus 4G/5G mobile network, including devices connected via tethering (hotspot).
  • Secure Net Fix + Mobile: €6/month – full protection combining one Internet line and all associated mobile subscriptions.

Protection applies only on the relevant Proximus network (fixed and/or mobile). You can cancel at any time via MyProximus.
