  1. Already a customer? Be sure to let us know you are moving at least five weeks in advance, so we can install everything on your preferred date. Is it too late? Of course this is still possible. We will do our utmost to install your products as soon as possible.

How to switch telecom operators?

To switch to Proximus you only need your Easy Switch ID and your current customer number. We'll take care of everything, from the cancellation request from your previous operator to the complete installation.

Frequently asked questions

Free move for customers who either move by keeping their Tuttimus, Familus, Flex or Epic combo, either change their subscriptions to a Flex during their move. If you only have a mobile subscription, you can change your billing address for free via MyProximus. Internet subscription only? The moving costs are €59.

You need to take all Proximus devices and cabling with you when you’re moving. So we can install them in your new home.

You’ll find info about your move in the Proximus+ app. It’s possible to consult or modify your appointment there.
We will also proactively communicate:

  • Confirmation of your move request via e-mail
  • 2 days before your actual move, we text you
  • 30 minutes before arriving, the technician calls to confirm his visit
  • During the installation, the technician is available for questions

The rate for a standard installation is €59, including different elements:

  • Installation of the Proximus connection
  • Cabling (max 20 meters, eventually with horizontal drilling in a wall) and a check of existing cabling
  • Installation and configuration of the modem, including securization and Wi-Fi
  • Configuration of a PC to access internet (using a cable or a built-in wireless card) + configuration of a tablet/smartphone
  • Installation of an e-mail address and an alias on 1 PC
  • Configuration of your My Proximus account
  • Mobile coverage check
  • Installation of the TV decoder + small demo

The type of installation that will be carried out at your new home will be discussed with you during the introduction of your request. Please get as much information as possible on the available infrastructure at your new address, on beforehand (presence or not of a Proximus connection, placement of this entry point, identity of the former Proximus customer…).

If the Proximus connection isn't available yet at your new address, our team will need to carry out extra work to establish a connection between the cabling in your street and your home. This intervention will be done the same day but isn’t included in the price for standard installation, neither are the extra devices like Wi-Fi enhancers.
