Exceeded your Internet volume?

You have, with your subscription, a monthly volume at your disposal for your mobile Internet and your fixed Internet. If you have (almost) used this up, you can get, or in some cases buy, more data.


Mobile Internet


 

If you exceed the data bundle for your mobile in Belgium and in the EU, we notify your time on how to continue surfing.

  • For some subscriptions (Mobilus, Bizz, ...), you will be charged for every extra MB used. You can buy extra data: a monthly data volume or an occasional volume.
  • For recent subscriptions (Flex, Unlimited, ...), you surf at a lower speed. In that case you can buy data to continue surfing at the normal speed.
  • For Pay&Go, you can convert your credit into data.This allows you to surf via mobile data in Belgium and within the EU.
For your subscription, proceeds as follows:

Via the MyProximus app:

  1. Open the app. Do you see in the left corner on your picture or your initials. Go to step 2.
    You see the logoinstead? Log in first with your account.
  2. Tap Products.
  3. Tap the mobile number and then Options.
  4. Choose the data option you want and tap Order.
  5. If you are not the administrator of the bills in MyProximus, tap Ask for approval so that the administrator can approve it.
    If you are the administrator of the bills, follow the procedure to confirm your order.
  6. After your confirmation, your new data volume is available after max. 15 minutes. Check it in MyProximus by tapping on your mobile number. The additional bundle does not apply to the amount of data with which you already exceeded your volume; it only gives you extra data from the moment of purchase.

Have you received a request for extra data from someone in your family or from your company? You can approve this order or reject it.

Via the MyProximus website:

  1. Log into MyProximus as administrator of your customer number to view your products.

    View your products 
  2. Select the mobile number concerned.
  3. Click in Options on More Data (if you don't see this, click Available). Choose the additional data package you want and slide the button to On.
  4. Follow the procedure to confirm your order. Your new data volume is available after max. 15 minutes. Check it in MyProximus by clicking on your mobile number. The new data option is not valid for the data that you already exceeded, it only gives you extra data from the moment you order it.

Tip: Check your usage in the MyProximus app. We send you also notifications by text about your usage.


Fixed Internet


 

If you exceed your volume for fixed Internet (at home, in your business), you will not be charged extra for this. However, your speed will be limited till the first day of the next month. You will be informed timely by e-mail and/or texting. You have 2 possibilities:

  • Continue to surf at this limited speed until the 1st day of the following month without extra costs. The next month, you will automatically get back your normal Internet speed.
  • Order extra volume for your fixed internet connection. Extra volume is a free or paying option, depending on the Internet subscription that you have. It will give you the insurance to be able to surf back at usual speed.

You can do this via MyProximus. Proceed as follows:

Via the MyProximus app:

  1. Open the app and tap on Products.
  2. Tap on your subscription for fixed Internet and then Options.
  3. Choose the data option you want and tap Order.
  4. Follow the procedure to confirm your order. Your new data volume is available after max. 15 minutes. Check it in MyProximus by tapping on your fixed Internet under Products.

Via the MyProximus website:

  1. Log into MyProximus as administrator of your customer number to view your products.

  2. Select the fixed internet subscription.
  3. Click in Options on Extra Data (if you don't see this, click Available). Choose the additional data package you want. Click on Order.
  4. Follow the procedure to confirm your order. Your new data volume is available after max. 15 minutes. Check it in MyProximus by clicking on your fixed Internet under My Products.
 

Tip: Check your usage for fixed internet in MyProximus. We will also send you an e-mail and a text when your volume is almost used up.
