Workplace as a Service (WPaaS) is a set of services offered by Proximus NXT. It covers all IT needs of a company’s employees.

Workplace as a Service (WPaaS) brings together different IT services to create a reliable digital working environment. It includes applications, devices, security, and access management. The aim is simple: enable employees to work efficiently and stay productive in a modern and competitive workplace, wherever they are and whatever device they use.

A key element of this approach is proactivity. As highlighted in the video, only 50% of IT incidents are reported to the IT department. This means that many issues remain invisible to the helpdesk. IT teams therefore need to move beyond a reactive model. Continuous monitoring of the employee experience allows them to detect and resolve problems before users even report them.

The service desk plays a central role in this evolution. As the first point of contact for employees, it increasingly integrates proactive processes to anticipate and address issues early.

Artificial intelligence (AI) strengthens this model. It enables more automated interactions and faster responses. Self-service portals also allow employees to find answers and solutions independently.

Digital Employee Experience (DEX) adds another layer. This monitoring tool is installed on devices and continuously measures employee experience. When an issue arises, it can be identified quickly and resolved before it escalates.

At the same time, organizations face constant technological change, especially artificial intelligence. These developments are rapid and complex. Companies must integrate new tools and solutions while ensuring proper security. Supporting employees in understanding and adopting these technologies is essential to achieve real gains in productivity and experience.

Workplace as a Service is a service model from Proximus NXT that integrates applications, devices, security and access management to support employees in a structured digital environment.

IT needs to be proactive because only half of IT incidents are reported, which requires continuous monitoring of employee experience (DEX) to detect hidden issues.

Digital Employee Experience (DEX) contributes by continuously measuring employee experience on devices and enabling early detection and resolution of issues.

Proximus NXT delivers Workplace as a Service by combining IT services and service desk support to manage employee IT needs.

Organisations face pressure to adapt when technological innovations, especially in artificial intelligence (AI), evolve rapidly and require integration and secure implementation.
