Smart Services Benefit Pack

The Benefit Pack offers the most popular Smart Services at a lower price.

  • Calling Number Display / Caller Name Display: You can see who is calling before you pick up, even if you're on the line. You can see who called you while you were away.
  • Call Waiting Signal: You can answer a second call without losing the first one.
  • Call Forwarding: You can forward your calls to a number of your choice.
  • Fixed Destination Call: You can program a number that is automatically dialled five seconds after you lift the receiver.

Caller display:

You see the number of your caller before you pick up, as well as the numbers that tried to call you while you were away.

Availability:

  • You need a compatible telephone for this. Discover the phones that we offer or check whether your current phone is compatible with Caller Display.
  • If you have a private telephone switchboard. The Caller Display service does not operate directly is you have one of the following private telephone switchboard types: Forum I6, Forum I12, Forum R106, Forum R208, Vivaldi, Octopus, UKS 4000, 1/4, 2/10. Solution: Proximus can install a special connection for you that gets round the switchboard. Call free on 0800-55 500 to make an appointment.
  • If you have an ISDN line. The Caller Display service is already included on your ISDN line.

This service is not available separately. It is included in the Smart Services Benefit Pack. You see the name and number of your caller before you pick up, as well as of the people who tried to call you while you were away.

Call Waiting Signal

If a person tries to reach you when you are on the line with someone else, you will be alerted by a beep. You can take this second call without losing the first.
If you have an ISDN line: the Call Waiting Signal service is already included on your ISDN line.
If you have a Proximus Duo Line: the Call Waiting service is only available in the Smart Services Advantage Pack.

Call Forwarding

Have your calls forwarded to your mobile or to another phone of your choice. Your caller pays the cost of the call to your usual telephone and you pay for the "forwarded" part of the call. Included on your ISDN line (but not available if you have a Proximus Duo Line).

Fixed destination call

Program the number of your choice, e.g. of a person you can rely on in case of a problem (but not emergency numbers with 3 digits), and this number will be dialled automatically 5 seconds after you pick up.

Anonymous Call Rejection

Any call that is not identified on your phone's display is automatically refused. If a person with a secret number calls, the service plays a message telling him that his number is rejected and that he must first deactivate the function allowing him to conceal his number. To activate this service, you first need the Caller Display or Name Display function.

After lifting the receiver, dial *933# to activate Anonymous Call Rejection or #933# to deactivate it.

Calling restrictions

You want to avoid surprises on your telephone bill or payment statement? You can block outgoing calls to special numbers.

There are two possibilities:

Permanent restrictions

You call our customer service to activate the service.
After that, Proximus programs the type of restriction you want for your telephone number.
Once these are installed, they cannot be removed without the help of our Customer Service department.
There are 6 types of permanent restriction:

  • Complete calling restriction: all calls are blocked except those to emergency service numbers
  • Calling restriction on non-national calls: blocks calls to non-national numbers (numbers outside Belgium, 090(x = 0,1,2,3,4,9), mobile phone numbers, 070, 0905 and 0906/0907 numbers).
  • Calling restriction on international calls: blocks all calls to numbers outside Belgium.
  • Calling restriction on calls to 0905 numbers (free): blocks calls to 0905 numbers, used for gaming.
  • Calling restriction on calls to 0906/0907 numbers (free): blocks calls to 0906/0907 numbers. The calls via internet (dial-up) to the following countries are blocked as well. See list underneath.
  • Calling restriction on calls to premium numbers (free): blocks calls to 090x- numbers (0900, 0901, 0902, 0903, 0904, and 0909) except for numbers connecting to internet services (from 090930 to 090936 included).

Temporary calling restriction

You call our customer service to activate the service.

After that, you program the type of restriction you want for your telephone number. You can activate and deactivate as many restrictions as you want. For security reasons, a password is required on your line (otherwise anyone can deactivate the call restriction).

Wake-up call service

Receive a wake-up call, but also a call to remind you of an important appointment, or if you need to catch a train or flight.

  • Dial 0800 515 48 (toll-free) and follow the instructions.
  • You will be called back on the telephone number from which you made the request.
  • If your line is busy or if you cannot answer, the wake-up call service will call back again a maximum of two times, every 5 minutes. This is billed per wake-up call at the moment of the execution of the order or of the last reminder call in the event of an unsuccessful attempt.

  • Our operators are available from Monday to Saturday, from 7am to 10pm.
  • In less than a minute you get connected with one of our operators and receive the information you require, even when your information is imprecise.
  • At your request, you can be put in contact with the person or company directly.
  • You can leave a voice message for a person whose mobile number you don't know. This number will never be communicated to you for reasons of privacy.
  • Price per call: 1.85 + 0.29/minute 

International information service (1404):
  • Our operators are available from Monday to Saturday, from 7am to 10pm.
  • Access to millions of telephone numbers around the world.
  • You receive an answer in about 30 seconds.
  • Price per call: 3.70 + 0.41/month

General conditions for Free Calls International

Free calls from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. on weekdays and around the clock on weekends and public holidays to landlines and mobile numbers in most European countries and Morocco, Turkey, United States and Canada.

Option valid only for a fixed telephone on a Phone Line. Limited to 2,000 minutes per month. Only one option per customer and only for personal use in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Proximus. Cannot be combined with other options granting discounts on international calls.

The numbers in Morocco starting with 526, 527, 533, 534, 540, 546, 547, 550, 553, 600 and 892 (preceded by land code 212) are not landlines numbers and are charged at the same rate as calls to mobile numbers.

Are not included: Bahamas, Barbados, French Guiana, French Polynesia, Gibraltar, Guadeloupe, Hawaii, Virgin Islands, Martinique, Netherlands Antilles, Puerto Rico, Réunion.

Calls to all countries of the world will be billed by the second after the 1st min, without connection charges.
