Change your domain name details (whois)
Every year, domain names are registered by millions of people with different registrars, including Proximus.
The policy of ICANN requires the domain name holder to communicate and maintain up to date his contact details (name, address, phone number, administrative and technical contacts, etc.), also known as "whois" data.
If your contact details are not up to date or incorrect, this can lead to the suspension or cancellation of your domain name.
You can modify the contact details of your domain name yourself in MyProximus (only via the website and not in the app). To do this, follow these steps:
- Log in to MyProximus to view your products. Don’t have an account yet? Create a MyProximus account

- Under My administrative data (Whois data) you can modify your contact details (last name, first name, address, phone, fax, and e-mail).
- Click Update.
You will receive an e-mail on the contact e-mail address you provided. Your domain name data will only be changed after you have clicked the confirmation link in this e-mail.
