Proximus is therefore modernising its network by gradually replacing these copper cables by fiber cables. And unlike most other operators who stop at the street, Proximus is installing fiber right into your business, to ensure the best possible performance now and in the future. In the long term, our copper network will be completely replaced by this new technology.

Already a Proximus customer? Please note that your current copper cable will have to be replaced by fiber soon anyway in order to meet the ever-increasing need for connectivity and to guarantee you the best performance today and in the future.

Yes, your fiber connection is completely free for any activation of a Fiber pack, whether you’re a Proximus customer or not. If you choose a different fiber product, such as Internet Fiber only, €48.76 excl. VAT installation costs will be charged in case of new installation.

The installation takes between 2 and 4 hours, but don't worry, the connection will be actually disconnected for only a few minutes, so you’ll be able to continue your activities.

The appointments made are always confirmed by email and can be viewed or changed later via the personal link in the e-mail. You can only cancel an appointment by telephone on 0800 55 500.
