Termination of Bizz Switch

In order to guarantee the most efficient service to all our customers, we are adapting our product range. As a result, Proximus will no longer offer Bizz Switch, consisting of Bizz Mobile Switch and Bizz Office Switch, as of 30 September 2022. What you use Bizz Switch for today:

  • Bizz Mobile Switch: combines your personal mobile number with a second professional virtual mobile number on the same SIM card. You choose whether your customers get to see your personal mobile number or your virtual mobile number.
  • Bizz Office Switch: combines your personal mobile number with your landline. Calls on your landline are forwarded to your mobile number. If you contact someone with your mobile number, the person will get to see the number of your landline.

What will change soon:

  • Bizz Mobile Switch: on 30 September 2022 your professional virtual number will be automatically deactivated. From then on, it will no longer be accessible to your customers. You won't be able to use it to contact your customers either. Your personal mobile number will of course remain active. Do you want to keep your professional virtual number?   • Bizz Office Switch: as of 30 September 2022, the service will no longer be operational. Your landline will no longer be forwarded to your personal mobile number. If you contact your customers with your personal mobile number after the service has been stopped, they will get to see your personal mobile number and not your landline. Do you want to keep your landline forwarded to your mobile phone?  Check our alternatives after the deactivation of Bizz Switch and take action before 30 September, 2022.

What if you use the Bizz Switch app:

  • Bizz Mobile Switch: if you still want to use your professional virtual number, check out our alternatives. When you are no longer using the service, simply remove the app from your mobile phone. After 30 September 2022, the app will also be removed from the App and Play store.
  • Bizz Office Switch: if you want to keep your landline forwarded to your mobile number, check out our alternatives. When you're no longer using the service, simply remove the app from your mobile phone. After 30 September 2022, the app will also be removed from the App and Play store.
  • Bizz Mobile Switch: after deactivation of the service, the cost price of Bizz Mobile Switch will be deducted from your bill.
  • Bizz Office Switch: if the service was part of your Bizz pack, there will be no impact on your bill after deactivation. If the service was not part of your Bizz pack, the product will no longer be charged after deactivation.

  • Would you like to continue using your professional virtual number?
    We are happy to help you in a Proximus shopOpens a new window to keep your professional number. We will disconnect it from the Bizz Switch service and activate it on a SIM card with a new mobile rate plan. To ensure that you can keep using your personal mobile number and your professional number simultaneously, you will need to acquire an additional device or a dual SIM device. A dual SIM device offers you the possibility of placing 2 SIM cards. When you contact your customers with your professional mobile number, they will get to see your professional number and not your personal mobile number.
  • Would you like to use your landline as a professional number?
    Then the Bizz Call Connect option is worth considering. It offers you one landline or professional number for your company. Calls are forwarded from the landline to your mobile number. When you contact your customers from your mobile number, you can have your landline displayed to keep your mobile number private. The only requirement is that you have a Business pack. Bizz Office Switch:

  • Would you like to keep your landline forwarded to your mobile number?
    1. With the Bizz Call Connect option, you will have one landline or professional number for your company. Calls are forwarded from the landline to your mobile number. When you contact your customers from your mobile number, you can have your landline displayed to keep your mobile number private. The only requirement is that you have a Business pack.     2. With the Call forwarding option or Smart Services Benefit Pack, you can keep your landline forwarded to your mobile number. Do you have a pack? Then you only pay for the option and can make unlimited calls to your landline and 1000 minutes to your mobile phone. Without a pack, you pay for the option and the calls forwarded to your mobile number. When you contact your customers from your mobile number after activating the service, they will get to see your mobile number and not your landline.
