During the yearly Think NXT event, Kanaal Z interviews Yashfeen Saiyid, Managing Director of Codit, on the different steps for successful AI implementation.
In an interview with Yashfeen, the enthusiasm for AI in Belgium is highlighted. While some companies are ahead, many are still in the proof of concept (POC) phase. To implement AI effectively, top management must recognize its importance, and business and IT should collaborate to identify and develop use cases. The process involves creating a minimum viable product (MVP) and deciding on production readiness.
Challenges include AI literacy and ensuring data availability and security. Proximus NXT has launched over 130 AI projects, emphasizing AI literacy, training, and prompt engineering. They follow a structured process from identifying use cases to production. An AI tool is ready for rollout when it has valuable features, meets cost and security standards, and complies with regulations.
