Connect your devices to Call Connect

With Call Connect, you can easily connect your phones to your modem. Connect more devices using A LAN switch. Connect your analogue fax or doorphone by installing an ATA box.

Which cable do you need for your devices?

To connect your phone to your modem, you need an IP cable. An IP cable is a common network cable that is also used to connect computers to each other or to the Internet.

A 2 meter IP cable is supplied with your device. Extra IP cables can be purchased in an electronics or DIY business. Ask for a UTP Cat5e network cable. Consult an electrician if you need a cable of more than 5 meters or you wish to install wall sockets.

How do you connect your devices?

Our technician will connect the devices. Contact us for an appointment. If you have received a replacement device, you can install the device yourself.

Up to 4 devices can be connected to the yellow ports of your modem if not in use. If the ports of your modem are already in use, use a LAN switch to connect extra devices. Your device may differ from the device used in the images.

  1. Connect your device to the modem.

    Connect the IP cable to the internet port of your device and one of the yellow ports of the modem.

    Connect the internet port of your device to the yellow port of the modem.

  2. Connect your device to the wall socket.

    Connect the Yealink's power adapter to the wall socket.

  3. Do you also have internet?

    Connect an IP cable to the Ethernet port of your computer and the PC port of your device. This way, you do not need to use a port on the modem. You can also connect your computer via a Wi-Fi network.

    Connect the cable between your computer and the PC port of your Yealink.

    If your device has anThis icon looks like a headset. or EXT jack, you can connect a headset.

Your device is now connected and starting up.

If you have already connected an antenna and just want to install your phone, proceed to step 3.

  1. Connect your device's antenna to the modem.

    Connect the IP cable to the antenna's internet port and one of the yellow ports of the modem.

    The antenna is black and square. Connect the IP cable to the internet port of the antenna and the yellow port of the modem

  2. Connect the antenna to the wall socket.

    Connect the antenna's power adapter to the wall socket

  3. Connect the base station to the wall socket.

    Connect the base station where your device fits in to the wall socket

  4. Insert the rechargeable batteries into your device and put your device into the base station.
  5. Press The icon looks like a black telephone with a small circle below it. 5 seconds to turn on your device.

Your device is now connected and starting up.

Your device is not immediately detected?

  • Press the The icon is found on the antenna and looks like a WiFi icon. button for 5 seconds.
  • Press the OK button on your device.
  • Select Settings > Registration > Register Handset.

  1. Connect your device to the modem.

    Connect the IP cable to the internet port of your device and one of the yellow ports of the modem.

    Connect the internet port of your device to the yellow port on the modem.

  2. Connect your device to the wall socket.

    Connect the power adapter of your device to the wall socket.

Optional microphones connect to the The port is named MIC. ports on the sides of your device.

Your device is now connected and starting up.

Analogue faxes or door phones have a classic phone jack, so you cannot connect them in the same way as your Call Connect devices. Our technician installs an ATA box with 2 additional ports to connect an analogue fax or doorphone.

  1. Connect the ATA box to the modem.

    Connect the IP cable to the internet port of the ATA box and one of the yellow ports of the modem.

    Connect the cable to the blue internet port of the ATA box and the yellow port of the modem.

  2. Connect the ATA box to the power outlet.
  3. Connect your fax or door phone to any of the white phone ports.

Your devices are now connected to the ATA box.

If you want to connect an alarm, you will need a classic landline. You cannot connect the alarm to the ATA box.

Connect multiple devices with a LAN switch

To make calls, your devices must be connected to your modem. But what if there are not enough free ports on the modem to connect all your devices? Install a LAN switch.

Our technician connects the LAN switch to your modem. You connect your devices to the LAN switch with an IP cable. If your LAN switch supports Power over Ethernet, then you do not need to use separate power adapters for your devices. Contact us for more information or an appointment.
