Administrator or user in MyProximus?

The "administrator" sees and manages all subscriptions (Internet, mobile phones, TV, landline, etc.) and corresponding bills with the same customer number in MyProximus. The rest (the "users") only see their own mobile there.

Check your role and how you can become administrator. How this works depends on whether you are a private customer or a professional customer (with VAT number).

Are you Pay&Go?

You are automatically the administrator of your own phone number. It is not possible for another MyProximus account to add your Pay&Go number or to administrate it there.


Private customer

In MyProximus, only one member of the family (the "administrator") can manage all the subscriptions (Internet, mobile, TV, landline, etc.) with the same customer number and corresponding bills. The rest (the "users") only see their own mobile. How does this work in practice?

  • As an administrator in MyProximus (web and app) you are the only person in your family who can manage:
    • The bills or payment statements, usage and options of all your subscriptions with the same customer number
    • Access to TV, Pickx, Cloud, My e-Press, etc.
    • Settings and chargeable options for all mobile phones
  • As a user in MyProximus (web and app) you only manage:
    • Usage of your own mobile
    • Access to Enjoy!
    • Settings and free options for your own mobile

Check if you are administrator or user:

  • in the MyProximus app: Tap in the left corner on your picture or your initials. You'll see your role under your user name.
    You see the logo? Log in first with your credentials.
  • on the MyProximus web site: look at your role.

You are a user but want to become an administrator? You can make this change in MyProximus (via the app and via the website).

  1. First check whether you can become an administrator. This depends on your situation.
    • You have no mobile numbers on your bill or payment statement? You can become an administrator if you have a customer number. You don't need a Proximus mobile number.
    • You have one or more mobile numbers on your bill or payment statement? You can become an administrator with your Proximus mobile number, unless:
      • you have a Pay&Go prepaid card
      • your employer pays for your mobile subscription
      • you have a mobile number from another provider
  2. Inform the current administrator (if there is one) that you want to take over his/her role.
  3. Via the app? In the MyProximus app, tap twice on your picture or initials and then on Become administrator.
    Via the website? Click on the button below, log in and then, in the box My bill?, click on Become administrator.

  4. Enter your customer number. If this doesn't work, it means you have products under two different customer numbers. Try the other customer number.
  5. You are now an administrator. If there was a previous administrator, he/she will receive an e-mail about the change and will subsequently only see his/her own mobile.


Professional customer

In MyProximus, certain people (the "administrators") can manage all the subscriptions (Internet, mobile, TV, fixed line, etc.) and corresponding bills with the same customer number of your company or organization. The rest (the "users") only see their own mobile. How does this work in practice?

  • As an administrator in MyProximus (web and app) you manage for your company:
    • The bills, usage and options of all your subscriptions with the same customer number (web and app)
    • Settings and chargeable options for all mobile phones (web and app)
    • Access to Proximus TV,  Pickx, Cloud  (web and app)
  • As a user in MyProximus (web and app) you only manage:
    • Usage of your own mobile
    • Access to Enjoy!
    • Settings and free options for your own mobile

In your company, you can have several administrators per customer number. You are a user but want to become an administrator?

  1. First check whether you can become an administrator. Anyone in your company (with or without a mobile phone) can become an administrator unless:
    • they have a Pay&Go prepaid card;
    • they have a mobile number from another provider;
    • their mobile number belongs to a different customer account or different bill.
  2. Inform the current administrator (if there is one) that you want to become administrator (as well).
  3. Via the app? In the MyProximus app, tap twice on your picture or initials and then on Become administrator.
    Via the website? Click on the button below, log in and then, in the box My bill?, click on Become administrator.

  4. Enter your customer number. If this doesn't work, it means you have products under two different customer numbers. Try the other customer number.
  5. You are now an administrator. An e-mail notifies any other administrator(s) of this.  You can see who is an administrator in MyProximus.

You are either an administrator or a user: it is not possible to delegate certain parts of MyProximus, whether within or outside your company.
