Install and use your own device on the Proximus network
As a business customer, you can choose to install your own modem, router, or Wi-Fi access point instead of using Proximus equipment. This allows your company to manage its internet lines to support your own equipment and use it on the Proximus network.
Check the technical specifications of your device
To use your own equipment, it must meet specific technical requirements.
Therefore, check the technical specifications in the documents below:
- Specifications for the VDSL NTP(PDF, 349 KB)
- Specifications for the VDSL-modem(PDF, 404 KB)
- Your modem/routeur must support VLAN (VLAN tag) WAN tagging and IPoE sessions.
If your modem and NTP meet the specifications, you can follow the manufacturer’s instructions to install your own device on the Proximus network instead of the Proximus equipment, like a b-box or Internet Box.
