During the yearly Think NXT event, Kanaal Z interviews Benoît Hespel, head of Artificial Intelligence at Proximus Ada, on the key principles underpinning responsible use of AI.
Benoît emphasizes that AI enables computers to think independently based on data, similar to human learning. Responsible AI focuses on the well-being of society and the individual, with attention to equality, inclusion, security, trust and transparency. Companies and government agencies must respect these principles and overcome obstacles such as bias and inconsistency. Governance is critical to using AI responsibly and documenting how algorithms are created and applied.
