Use apps

The Android TV Box offers a variety of apps and games that you can download from the Google Play Store and use directly on your TV. While using these apps, you will consume your (amply) provided fixed Internet volume. If you exceed this Internet volumeOpens a new window , you will not be charged for it, but your Internet speed will be limited until the following month. You can, however, buy extra volume to surf at full speed again.

YouTube is already installed on your Android TV Box.

  1. Press Home on your remote control.
  2. Go to Apps, then YouTube.

By linking your YouTube account to your TV, you can access many YouTube features.

  1. Press Home on your remote control.
  2. Go to Apps, then YouTube.
  3. Select Verbinding and Sign in. If your Google account is configurated on the Android TV Box, you have nothing to do. If not, a code appears on your screen.
  4. On a mobile phone or computer, surf to youtube.com/activateOpens a new window and enter the code displayed on your screen.
  5. Follow the instructions to sign in to your YouTube account. A message confirms that your TV is connected to your YouTube account.

You can browse TV's YouTube app from your mobile phone.

  1. Press Home on your remote control.
  2. Go to Apps, then YouTube.
  3. Go to Settings.
  4. Choose Link with tv code in the menu. A code is displayed.
  5. Open the YouTube app on your mobile phone and press .
  6. Choose Link with TV code, type the TV code and validate. A message confirms that your mobile phone is linked to your TV's YouTube app.

Only the Amazon Prime Video app is accessible via the Android TV Box. Other Amazon services (Amazon Music, Prime Reading and Prime Gaming) are not available.

  1. Press Home on your remote control.
  2. Go to Apps in the menu bar.
  3. Select the Amazon Prime Video app from the Android TV Box catalog or the Google Play Store   and install it.
  4. Sign in with your Amazon Prime Video account.
  5. Don't you have an Amazon Prim Videoe account yet? You can subscribe to Amazon Prime Video via the Android TV Box.
