Change PHP version

If you try to install WordPress, Joomla, Drupal or another CMS on your hosting, where do you receive a message that your PHP version is not compatible? You can simply change your PHP version if you have Linux hosting. This isn't possible for Windows hosting.

In the top right of the control panel, you can check whether your hosting contains the word "Windows" or "Linux".

Follow the steps below to change your PHP version:

  1. Log in with your username and password on Password forgotten? Set a new password.
  2. Click Manage Website.

  3. Click Web Hosting Settings.

  4. Click Edit.
  5. Click the drop-down menu next to PHP implementation and select the desired PHP version.

  6. Click Submit.

Your PHP version has been changed. You can now install your CMS.
