Change DNS records

How do you create, change or deactivate DNS records for your domain name? You can create or change A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, SRV and TXT records yourself by logging on to:

MyProximus

Please note: If you have a free domain name, you cannot manage DNS records in MyProximus.

  1. Log in to MyProximus to view your products.
    View your products
  2. Click on your domain name.
    Click on your domain name.
  3. In the box DNS settings you will see an overview of all your DNS records. Click on Manage DNS to create or modify DNS records.Click on Manage DNS.
  4. Click Hosted Domains.

  5. Click the domain name for which you want to add a DNS record.
    Choose a domain name.
  6. Click the DNS tab and then click DNS Records and Add New DNS Record.

    You can change or deactivate existing records by clicking them and selecting Edit or Deactivate record.

  7. Now select the type of record you want to add or change. The fields to be filled in will depend on the type of record you have chosen.

  8. Click Finish.

Your DNS record has now been added or changed.

  1. Log in with your username and password on https://cp.belgacomhosting.be/. Password forgotten? Set a new password.
  2. Click Hosted Domains.

  3. Click the domain name for which you want to add a DNS record.
    Choose a domain name.
  4. Click the DNS tab and then click DNS Records and Add New DNS Record.

    You can change or deactivate existing records by clicking them and selecting Edit or Deactivate record.

  5. Now select the type of record you want to add or change. The fields to be filled in will depend on the type of record you have chosen.

  6. Click Finish.

Your DNS record has now been added or changed.

Please note: changes may cause your domain name to stop functioning properly! In case of doubt or to create SPF or PTR records, contact our DNS masters.

Contact DNS masters

You can send a request for a DNS-record change by e-mail to DNS masters.

Don't forget to mention your domain name, the type of DNS record you want to change, and to provide us with the necessary host names and IP addresses.

Please note: If the change has to be done at a specific time, please contact our DNS masters at least two working days in advance so we can ensure that the change is carried out on time.
