Divert calls received on your landline

You can forward calls from your landline to your mobile number, for instance, if you miss a call, your line is busy, etc.

Update: Coronavirus

If you have the paying option call forwarding, you can forward calls from your landline to another landline free of charge during this period. If you forward calls from your landline to a mobile, you will still be billed at out-of-bundle rate

Activate the call forwarding option

In order to be able to forward calls, you must first activate (one-time only) the paying option 'call forwarding'.

To do this, surf to our paying options,  scroll down to Other options, Call forwarding and click Order now. Follow the steps in our webshop.

There are now 2 ways to set up or change your call forwarding: via a short code or via the number 1987 (Phone Manager).

Setting up call forwarding using a short code

Activate or deactivate call forwarding by entering a short code on your phone. Each time you activate, deactivate or reactivate call forwarding, you will hear a quick discontinuous tone as confirmation. Do you also want to forward calls received on your mobile? Check the list of mobile codes.

You can always use these short codes to forward calls to PhoneMail, the voicemail service on your landline, even if you haven't activated the paying option call forwarding.

Setting up call forwarding via the toll-free number 1987

You can set up call forwarding by calling from your own telephone or any other number in Belgium or abroad.

  • To do this, call 1987 (free) from your landline, 0800 1 1987 (free) from another line or call +32 70 21 1987 (international rate) from abroad. If you do not call from your own phone, you will first be asked for your phone number (without country code) and the Phone Manager code you have previously set by calling 1987 from your landline. Call forwarding to international numbers can only be set up from your own phone.
  • Choose option 1 for the call forwarding service and select the type of call forwarding you wish to set up.
