Stop pay-for text messages and block pay-for numbers

No longer interested in pay-for text services (e.g. horoscopes, games)? You can stop such a service or subscription free of charge. Want to avoid calling pay-for numbers in future, or sending and receiving pay-for texts? In MyProximus, you can define the type of pay-for numbers and texts you want to block.

Stop pay-for text messages

To deregister from a text message service, simply text STOP (in capital letters) to the service provider's mobile number or the contact number of the third party service provider.
You get no answer or you still receive these text messages after a few days? In that case, contact our customer service. We will be happy to help you to have the service provider cancel the text message service.

Block pay-for texts and numbers

To avoid calling pay-for numbers or sending and receiving pay-for texts, you can block them by category (adult, gaming, etc.). If you also want to block payments via Proximus (SMS parking, SMS tickets, apps, etc.), set the limit for mobile payments to zero.

The procedure for blocking pay-for numbers and texts differs, depending on your situation.
