Change your password, login or mobile number for MyProximus

You log in to MyProximus with your user name (login) and password or with the app itsme?
Keep these access data safe and up to date. This way, in case you have forgotten your password or login, we can e-mail you your user name and/or the key for a new password.

Change your password
  1. Log in to MyProximus (only via the web) to change your password.

  2. You'll arrive on the My Account page.
  3. Enter your old password.
  4. Choose a new one. It should contain at least 8 characters, including at least 4 letters and at least 1 numeral.
  5. Press Save changes. You’ll be able to use your new password immediately on MyProximus (app and web).
Change your user name (login)
  1. Log in to MyProximus (only via the web) to change your user name.

  2. You'll arrive on the My Account page.
  3. Enter your new user name. This must be an e-mail address.
    Do you receive a message that this e-mail address is already in use? In that case you can request a new password to use MyProximus with this e-mail address and then store your products in it.
  4. Press Save changes.
  5. An e-mail will be sent to this e-mail address with a link for confirmation. Click this link.
  6. You’ll now be able to log in to MyProximus (app and web) with your new user name and existing password.
Change your mobile number

Your mobile number is important as contact number for MyProximus. Make sure your mobile number is up to date:

  1. Log in to MyProximus (only via the web) to change your mobile number.

  2. You'll arrive on the My Account page.
  3. Enter the mobile number you want to use as contact number for MyProximus.
    If you also manage the already completed mobile number in MyProximus, it’s not possible to make a change.
  4. Press Save changes.

Attention: it is not possible any more to log in to MyProximus with your mobile number.

Change your itsme

Be aware: it is possible that you use itsme for other applications, such as Internet banking, besides your access to MyProximus.
You have to change your itsme details only if you change your mobile number, mobile phone, or SIM card. This is done on the website itsme.be. First, block your account, then open the app and register again via the same path (same bank or e-ID) as your initial itsme registration. More information can be found on the support pages of itsme.be.
