Explanation of your payment statement
As residential client, you receive each month a payment statement. Professional clients receive a bill.
Here is an explanation of an example of a payment statement.
Overview of your payment statement
- Payment statement date: You receive a payment statement around the same time every month. You are billed for your usage of the previous month, whereas your subscriptions are billed for the ongoing month.
- One-time charges: These are charges that are only billed once for a device, installation, activation, etc. More details can be found on the subsequent pages of your payment statement.
- Subscriptions: This is the total of all subscription fees (Internet, TV, telephone, etc.) for the current month. If you recently switched to another subscription, you may see more than one month with an amount for your old and new subscription. More details about your subscriptions can be found on the subsequent pages of your payment statement.
- Usage: This groups together your extra telephone, Internet and TV usage of the previous month. It varies every month as it is calculated on the basis of your personal usage (per minute, per MB, etc.). More details about your usage can be found on the subsequent pages of your payment statement.
- Services delivered by third parties: If you buy a parking ticket by text message, for example, or call a 0900 number, you will find the total amount here. The costs for using these services will be directly passed on to the third-party provider concerned.
- You can look up the details of and contest such pay-for calls and pay-for text messages online.
- You can stop pay-for text messages and block pay-for numbers.
- Amount: All amounts include VAT.
- Total amount to be paid: Is the amount higher than you expected when you took the subscription? View all the parts of your payment statement: besides your subscription, you also need to pay for your extra usage of the past month, any one-time charges and/or third-party services.
Want your payment statement online?
- If you have a MyProximus account, via the app and on myproximus.be you can:
- view your bills and payments of previous months.
- pay your payment statements
- consult your usage of the ongoing month – usage of previous months can only be seen via the website of MyProximusmois en cours. La consommation des derniers mois n'est visible que via le site web de MyProximus.
- choose to receive your bill by e-mail, via Zoomit or on papier and to pay it by direct debit.
- With the QR code, you can quickly access your bill on your smartphone.
Proceed as follows:
- Scan the QR code on your smartphone with a QR reader (not with the reader of your banking app).
- If you don't have the app, you will be automatically asked to download and install it.
- If you don't have access to your bills in MyProximus, the procedure to register or become an administrator will automatically start.
- If requested, sign in with your user name (see 3). If you've forgotten your password, you can set a new password.
- If you have an unpaid bill, you can pay it directly.
- With your user name, you can quickly access your bills on your computer. For this, go to MyProximus d sign in with your user name. If you've forgotten your password, you can set a new password. Find out if you are the administrator. Then, you can view and pay your bills.
- If you see Create your MyProximus account, you are not yet registered on MyProximus. Register using your customer number, activation code and billing date. Take your e-mail address as your user name.

Address and numbers
- Installation address and numbers: The address(es) where you are using your Internet, TV or fixed line, along with the corresponding telephone numbers and reference numbers. You can organize your move online.
- Mobile numbers: Do you have a mobile phone? This is your number(s).
- One-time charges: These are charges which are billed only once for a device (mobile phone, modem, decoder, etc.), for an installation, an activation, for administrative costs when moving, or for official reminders if you paid your payment statement or bill too late.
- Subscription: This is the total of all subscription fees (Internet, TV, telephone, etc.) for the current month. If you have a pack, only the total amount is shown, and you see the items included in that amount.
- Overview of products, product names and options that you have. On Proximus.be you will find more information about product names.
- Period: You pay the subscription fee for the current month. If you recently started a new subscription, the exact period during which your subscription was active is indicated.
If you recently switched to another subscription, you will see both your old and new subscription for the corresponding period.
- Price/month incl. VAT: Subscription price per product per month.
- Total in euro incl. VAT: The subscription fee for the period of your payment statement. For your first payment statement, a new subscription, or a recent change in subscription, the total number of days that your new subscription was active will be billed. That's why this can be more than one month and can explain why your bill is higher than expected.
- Equipment: The technical devices needed for your Internet or TV to work. Each initial device is included in your pack. If you request additional devices, these are billed under Options.
- Options: Here you will find extra options, if you have them, or products which are not included in your pack.
Detailed usage information
- Usage: These are the costs that are not included in your subscription. These costs vary from month to month, as they are calculated on the basis of your personal usage (per minute, per MB or GB, TV on demand, etc.). You can consult the details of your billed usage online. Tip: Keep track of usage for the ongoing month which has not yet been billed: online and via the app.
- Period: You pay for your previous month's usage (from the first to the last day of that month). If your subscription did not start at the beginning, but during the course, of that month, here you will see the exact usage period, which is shorter than one month (for this one time only).
- Quantity: Total number of calls, text messages, data of Internet traffic, TV on demand, etc. of the previous month.
You can consult the details of your billed usage online. Usage of the ongoing month which has not yet been billed can be consulted online and via the app.
- Duration or Volume: Your personal usage of the previous month in call minutes or data (GB or MB) for mobile or fixed Internet.
- Amount including VAT: The amount due for your usage of the previous month. Sometimes, this is not shown because the usage is included in your bundle, option or pack.
If you disagree with a given amount, you can dispute it.
