Follow lessons, even from home

Sick children or children injured in a serious accident still need to be able to follow lessons with their class to pass their school year and keep their spirits up. But how do you go about this if you can't travel? The solution is to simply bring the school … to the home!

What is Take Off?

To follow lessons from home while staying connected with the class, it is of course necessary to have suitable equipment: computers, speakers, webcams, a good connection, etc.

This is where Take Off comes in, by dealing with the whole installation and training the children and their class. A splendid project!

1.500 km

The distance between the school and the sick child per year

1.000 cuddles

The number of hand signals conveyed via Take Off screens per week

420 hours

The number of hours during which the sick child is missed by his or her classmates

1.000 drawings

The number of drawings sent to sick children per year

Proximus and Take Off

To follow the lessons in the best way possible via internet, a reliable connection is required. Image or sound bugs could make comprehension and participation in class complicated. Take Off therefore relies on us to provide a very high-quality connection in the classroom and the premises where the children are.

You too can help by recycling

Want to support this excellent project? Hand in your old mobile phone to a Proximus Center! Depending on the condition of the phone, you'll receive a discount voucher towards the purchase of a new smartphone or a nice accessory. For every phone that is recycled, we’ll donate €1 to Take Off.
