Until now the last part from the street to the home was covered by copper or coax cables. Because of the rapidly increasing internet usage, Proximus provides, as only operator in Belgium, fiber to the home.

Why should I get fiber?

With fiber, you can surf, stream and game at lightning speed! In other words, everyone at home surfs faster than ever, with the clearest image on every screen. Even if you're all surfing at the same time, you won't experience the least interruption. What's more, your home will be worth more with a fiber connection and will be totally ready for the future!

Is a fiber connection really free of charge?

Yes, you don't pay anything for your fiber connection. During the works in your neighbourhood, the installation is free of charge, whether you're a Proximus customer or not. What's more, you're not obliged to purchase services from us afterwards, but have the widest possible telecom choice for the future. We offer services on the fiber network but so do other operators who use our network.

I'm interested, what should I do?

Check on this website whether fiber is being rolled out to your home. If this is the case: after the address check you will be automatically directed to our registration form. After that, we will contact you by telephone as soon as possible.

Why can't I get fiber?

With our address checker, you can see whether you can get fiber to your home. We are working in stages, so it is possible that your address is not yet in the zone where we are currently providing fiber. It is also possible that your home is in a fiber zone but we cannot run fiber to your home for technical or administrative reasons (e.g. no authorization from the trustee).

How do I find/change my appointment for the fiber installation?

Appointments are always confirmed by e-mail and can later be consulted and/or changed via the personal link contained in this e-mail, or by calling 0800 33 007. Appointments can only be canceled by telephone.

Where can I register or obtain more information?

If you want to register, use the address checker to find out whether fiber is (or will soon be) available to your home. Want more information? Visit our local fiber info point at 52 Boulevard Emile Jacqmain in Anspach, go to a Proximus Center in your area, or call 0800 33 007.
