Dining with Proximus
Proximus guests were invited to take their places at the magnificent tables in the Autoworld mezzanine. Pascal Riche, Reward advisor at Belfius, was among them. “Naturally, this event is an ideal networking opportunity. A host of sectors are represented as we discuss the HR challenges we face, which are often the same.”
At the second table, Joost Strubbe, Director HR Belgium at Puratos, talked about one of the HR challenges facing his company: recruiting digital profiles. “Digital channels such as LinkedIn and YouTube have become an essential part of our searches.” For Ilse Verschueren, HRM at APB, the mission includes members: “As a professional association, we also offer coaching programs around people management and human resources for 4,200 pharmacies who are member of APB, in cooperation with the local professional association.”
At the third table, Yves Croonenberghs, HRM at GBL, referred to a challenge that is familiar to Belgian companies: “Retaining talent by setting several goals together and by following the development of the coworker.”
