As of 13 June 2022, Mobile coverage extender (Pro) does no longer work and billing has been stopped. Why? At Proximus, we want to offer our customers the latest technology. This is why our products are regularly adapted or replaced. This is the case for the Mobile Coverage Extender (Pro): it is indeed based on an outdated technology that is no longer technically supported by our supplier.

As of 13 June 2022, the service and billing are stopped automatically.

You can replace your Mobile Coverage Extender (Pro) with calling via wifi. Your new smartphone allows you to make calls via Wi-Fi (VoWiFi). Wi-Fi uses a local, wireless network that allows you to make calls and send text messages, even if you have poor reception indoors. What to do with your Mobile Coverage Extender (Pro)? You can take the device to the nearest container park. If you are cancelling other devices at the same time (a decoder or b-box for example), bring everything to the Proximus Shop of your choice. This is explained in the letter you receive.
