VVSG congress: current themes and inspiration

Comments

On 15 October next, the Association of Flemish Cities and Municipalities (VVSG) will be organizing an inspiration day for the local administrations. Partner Proximus will be lending its support by hosting a session on how big data can help you revamp your services.

New technology has created untold possibilities. The playing field of service providers of tomorrow is wide open. With the integration of the Public Centers for Social Welfare (OCMW) and the respective municipalities literally around the corner, ‘durven met dienstverlening (a bold step towards service excellence)’ has never been more topical. ‘Durven met dienstverlening’ is about offering citizens a better, more efficient and caring service, whether they are queuing at the counter, checking your website or making enquiries by phone.

At the VVSG congress in Ghent on 15 October, practice experts will discuss their approach to local public services. Through a mix of speakers and partners, local authorities will get an opportunity to share their views and approaches. As a structural partner of the VVSG, Proximus is delighted to be once again associated with this event. In an interactive workshop, Olivier Vangheluwe, Marketing Expert – Integration strategic Projects, will explore the contributions IoT, big data and other ICT building blocks can make to rendering your services and internal operations more efficient and cut costs in the process.
