Municipalities very satisfied with Proximus collaboration on public works

Visionby One magazine10/03/2016

Proximus surveys all cities and municipalities annually via the Roadworks & Sideworks survey. This measures how satisfied they are with the professional collaboration with Proximus and the quality and safety of the works on the public domain. The result in 2015 is very positive, with satisfaction scores above 85%.

The high scores are the result of the professionalism and expert knowledge of the employees who consult with cities and municipalities daily, and of the RoSi (Roadworks & Sidewalks) program that was started after the first survey in 2011. The program has three aims:

  • Optimal coordination of the works, so that the public road is broken open only once,
  • Clear and timely communication with cities, municipalities and local residents on the works,
  • Ensured quality of the works carried out by contractors.

RoSi is available as a total solution with e.g. the mobile worksite application My City App. Via the app, local administrations can consult all Proximus worksites within the territory of their city or municipality. They can request extra information on the history, status and location of the works. An overlay on Google Maps shows the works clearly on a map. There is also a module that makes it possible to manage your own worksites. Thanks to the mobile nature of the solution – the app can be rented along with a tablet – local administrations can consult a complete worksite file when and where they want.

Do you too want less disruption for your residents and better worksite monitoring?

For more info on the ‘My City App’ application, go to www.proximus.be or contact your account manager.
